24 hour on-site supervision by a Licensed Veterinary Technician
Sprouse’s Corner Ranch feeds Southern States, Blue Seal, and Augusta Co-op feeds, including name brands such as Legends, Triple Crown, Pennfields, and Sentinel. Our easy-keepers are fed a vitamin/mineral/protein mixture called “Elite Balancer” , and have access to pasture and hay with a dry lot option. Our hay is a good quality grass hay. If your horse needs a different type of hay or a special feed, or requires more than normal amounts of feed (beet pulp, hay cubes, additional grain or hay for hard-keepers), we would be glad to add that feed in exchange for reimbursement for the additional cost.
We have a rotational deworming program and deworm all of our horses at the same time to ensure they are all on the same cycle of protection. Boarders simply reimburse the Ranch for the cost of the dewormer.
There are several local farriers and veterinarians from which to choose. We have a list posted at the barn if you prefer to choose who you would like to use, or you can use the Ranch’s primary equine professionals.
