Our Business opened in June of 2008. The 81 acre ranch has been part of the Sprouse Family for many generations. In fact, the great-great-great grandfather of LaRue Sprouse (the grandfather of E.B. Sprouse I, the founder of Sprouse's Corner) is buried at the Sprouse Family Cemetery located on the Ranch. LaRue Sprouse is the current owner/manager of the Ranch. She is a Level II Certified Horsemanship Assocation Certified Instructor, holds her CTRI status (Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor) and ESMHL (Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning) with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International. She has also been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2001. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Equine Therapy and an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. She and her family live on the Ranch, and they are all involved in the maintenance and care of the resident horses, chickens, cows and dogs.
